Community Outreach Programs

M.B. Kahn is one of the largest supporters of public education and community partnerships in the Southeast. M.B. Kahn is known for taking an active role in the communities where we serve, not only financially but also with meaningful experiences in the lives of children and families. Our employees serve on numerous Boards and Foundations that focus on helping the community, such as Educational Foundations, PTA, and Friends of the Library.

Kahn-Sponsored Events & Programs include:

  • Career Day Fairs (Exhibits and curriculum for elementary, middle and high school students)
  • Apprenticeship Program (for adults seeking employment opportunities)
  • Internship Program for College or University students
  • Job Shadowing                   
  • Special speakers for classes (about specific careers or staying in school)
  • Readers and mentors for at-risk students
