M.B. Kahn has a long history of delivering high-profile projects for Clemson University, dating back to 1976. Clemson University is a large contributor to our firm's success, as many college interns come to us from Clemson, and stay for lasting careers. A few of our projects include:
2012 - Freeman Hall Expansion - M.B. Kahn was recently selected as the Construction Manager at Risk, to begin Pre-Construction services in May 2012. The new addition will be approximately 24,000 sq. ft. and will provide a home for faculty, staff, and students of the Industrial Engineering Department. The facility will provide an Auditorium, Conference Rooms, Faculty and Graduate Offices, and Collaborative Space. Rendering by Lord, Aeck & Sargent, Inc.
2007 - Clemson University International Center (CU-ICAR) of Automotive Research Parking Structure. This structure includes 1,192 parking spaces, plus a 20,000-square-foot office tower that features a gallery/display area, a fitness center and offices for CU-ICAR staff.
1995 - Clemson Conference Center and Inn - The Clyde V. Madren Conference Center and the John E. Walker, Sr. Golf Course opened to the public in October 1995. The Madren Center, overlooking Lake Hartwell is sited away from the campus, between the tenth and eighteenth fairways of the golf course, integrating drop-off areas, 400 parking spaces, a golf clubhouse, swimming pool and tennis courts. The site allows an uninterrupted view from the main lobby area to Tillman Hall Bell Tower – the historic symbol of Clemson University. The building is designed so that the public spaces wrap around assembly areas offering panoramic views of the golf course and Lake Hartwell.
