Beaufort School Groundbreakings January 23, 2020

M. B. Kahn joined Beaufort County School District officials, administrators, and students in January to break ground on expansion projects for May River High School and River Ridge Academy. We are partnering with the district to build 16 classrooms at River Ridge, and a two-story wing containing 23 classrooms at May River. The expansions are needed to alleviate crowding at the schools as Bluffton continues as Beaufort County’s fastest-growing city. Groundbreaking ceremony speakers included Board of Education Chair Christina Gwozdz, Superintendent Frank Rodriguez, River Ridge Academy Principal Bryan Ryman, and May River High Principal Todd Bornscheuer. Local students did a great job breaking ground in their M. B. Kahn hard hats. We look forward to delivering more outstanding facilities for learning in South Carolina!
