River Ridge Academy Crew Wins Safety Award July 30, 2020

M. B. Kahn is partnering with the Beaufort County School District to build 16 classrooms at River Ridge Academy in Bluffton, South Carolina. The expansions are needed to alleviate crowding at the schools as Bluffton continues as Beaufort County’s fastest-growing city. This week, we were pleased to present the team members working on the River Ridge Academy project with our COVID-19 Preparedness & Prevention Award. 

The Corporate Safety & Health Department implemented the COVID-19 Preparedness & Prevention Award in April to reward employees who excel at keeping our people and jobs safe and staying prepared to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Congratulations to Chris Thigpen, our Superintendent on this project. Chris and his team all did outstanding jobs of following our Jobsite Standards for Work Groups, Sanitation, and Handwashing Stations; maintaining the daily Jobsite Work Group Management Sheet; and keeping and maintaining the smallest possible Work Groups. Congratulations to everyone on their hard work!
