M. B. Kahn completed this speculative logistics center in Kings Mountain, NC and then split the facility for two tenants. The facility features load-bearing, insulated precast concrete walls, structural steel frame, and a single-ply roof membrane. With two primary building entryways, 60’ wide truck apron, 2 drive-in doors, and 33 loading docks, this speculative facility was designed to appeal to a variety of potential end users. Once the two tenants were confirmed, M. B. Kahn completed an insulated metal stud demising wall and split all the utility services to divide the facility. We then completed the upfit for half of the building which included: 2,500 SF office area, 500 SF Shipping office, additional dock doors, 8’ high Truck court fence with motorized gate, and a forklift charging area.
