M. B. Kahn has served Dorchester School District 4 over the past 8 years. After successfully completing 4 school additions under budget, M. B. Kahn was hired to complete a $39 million new middle school. The 120,000-square-foot middle school is based on a prototype design by JCS Architects and is located near the existing Woodland High School. It is the first new middle school in this District in almost 60 years. Other projects that M. B. Kahn completed as the Construction Manager at Risk include:

• Woodland High School – A 4-classroom addition
• Harleyville-Ridgeville K-8 School – Two Additions – $141,370 in savings
• Williams Memorial Elementary School – Addition of 10,800 SF with 6 classrooms and an enclosed corridor connecting to the existing school – $99,675 in savings
• Clay Hill Elementary School – Addition of 15,800 SF – $190,418 in savings
