MCIEAST Regional Brig Camp Lejeune, North Carolina

This facility includes specific confinement cells, detainee and staff showers, administrative areas, quarterdeck, visiting areas, dining area, religious areas, and library. Based on population averages and area serviced histories, the actual capacity needed is 68 bed spaces with a 10% surge capability for a total of 75 bed spaces. This complex brig project included state-of-the-art anti-terrorism/force protection features. The facility achieved LEED® Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
