M. B. Kahn provided pre-construction services as the design/build contractor for Mohawk’s multi-phased expansion of their carpet manufacturing facility. This 408,480-square-foot facility includes 12,400 square feet of office, engineering, and training areas, as well as 191,080 square feet of manufacturing operations with two extrusion towers and a 205,000 square foot warehouse. Prior to construction, M. B. Kahn worked with Mohawk to establish value engineered options to maintain the required schedule and to establish a budget offering the best value for time and dollars spent.
