MUSC Health West Ashley Medical Pavilion Charleston, South Carolina

The Medical University of South Carolina marked the arrival of 2020 with a new health care outpost in an unlikely location: a suburban shopping mall. M. B. Kahn partnered with MUSC to transform the former J.C. Penney department store at Citadel Mall into the 128,000 square foot MUSC Health West Ashley Medical Pavilion. The campus features two new operating rooms, a lab, a pediatric after-hours clinic, and physical therapy offices. One feature – visitors can find their way around thanks to football-style yard markers covering the floor. Here is to delivering a health care touchdown for Lowcountry patients.
