Our Commitment to Safety and Health Safety As A Standard
M. B. Kahn takes great pride in its safety standards. Our forces have posted nearly 5.25 million accident-free man-hours over the past five years, achieving an OSHA incidence rate of 1.64 and an OSHA lost-workday incidence rate of 0.07. In addition, M. B. Kahn’s current experience modification rate (EMR) is 0.73. Our achievements are the result of our entire team’s efforts to making safety a priority.
The Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 created the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to help employers and employees reduce injuries, illnesses and deaths on the job in America. Since then, workplace fatalities have been cut by more than 60 percent and occupational injury and illness rates have declined 40 percent. M. B. Kahn enthusiastically supports OSHA’s mission and places the safety and heath of our personnel as our top priority.
